Membership Categories
Each season the Swimming Wellington Board undertakes a review of the current membership categories. The categories should reflect the swimmer pathway taken by many of our members, from recreational through to competitive.
Your Club will invite previous members to renew their membership, if you are a new member looking to join, reach out to the club contacts to initiate the process. If you are a club secretary or committee member, please refer to the below processes set out by Swimming New Zealand to work through the renewal.
Competitive swimmer - 13 years and over.
Suitable for swimmers who wish to compete in a NQ event, Regional or National Championships, having previously taken part in club nights or a NQ event.

Suitable for swimmers who wish to compete Regional or National Championships, having previously taken part in club nights or a NQ event.

The Swimming New Zealand and Swimming Wellington fee components will apply to each member of your Club. These fees are set and updated in Swim Central. Your Club Committee needs to decide, prior to opening registrations and renewals, what your Club’s fee will be in addition to these set amounts (listed below).
